Good luck. 73 Jochen Schäfer, Germany, ENIGMA2000, the so called Kopf of the German numbers branch __ Spooks mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks Help: http://mailman.qth.net/faq.htm Post: mailto:Spooks@mailman.qth.net - Visit http://www.spynumbers.com/ for complete information about Spy Numbers Stations

Hi Nick, I love in Pasadena, and I've only had luck picking up the Cuban stations, and then only at night. I'm not sure how lucky you'll be, but you should check out the V2 and V2a schedules. You could always pull something in on your own set, record it, and play it for your class the next day. I did that for my kids when I could only pull in the V2* stations in the middle of the night, or see if you could pick something up on one of the internet tuner sites. OH! You know what else is insanely cool? You can get EAMs all day long on certain frequencies (I don't have them in front of me, but Spynumbers.com had something on EAMs, if I recall correctly. They're encoded messages, sound cool as hell, and are usually loud and clear. It's not exactly the same as a Numbers Station, but it's awfully close. Go Bruins! He was having a big barbeque party he was getting ready for, and low and behold I managed a German numbers station in the late afternoon / early evening in N. CA. I've also found stations I thought I could not hear, by pouring over lists (which I computerized) and looked at all the freqs. that were supposed to be on at that time. __ Spooks mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks Help: http://mailman.qth.net/faq.htm Post: mailto:Spooks@mailman.qth.net - Visit http://www.spynumbers.com/ for complete information about Spy Numbers Stations
