Is this a fire wall that splits one structure? I assume when you say ‘top of
the wall’ there is a roof/ceiling up there?
Have you thought about an automatic fire door? I see those a lot in warehouses.

During the VRP time frame, Central provided new cast bell housing assemblies
and new 1 1/4" DS-1 (non -adjustable) dry sprinklers with a tailshaft that
threaded directly into the bell housing. As we all know, the utilization of
bushings traps water and defeats the purpose of the dry sprinkler.
There is nothing "right" in this. The Central fitting is part of a listed
assembly so only listed with all it's parts. It's not a standard pipe
fitting so it would need to be listed separately. The assembly itself was
