I genuinely appreciate your comments.
My consideration has been that although setting up a server and mySQL is
trivial for me, it might not be for someone else who isn't a geek. But that
will have to be resolved in the installation process.

The choice was to embellish it (a bit) to incorporate some DHTML or rewrite
it from scratch so it is not browser dependent which to me seems like part
of the evolutionary process.
Does that change your opinion?
