I'm unable to save anything to a playlist.
Could you please check your server.log file for any error message? Did
this break in a recent update or is there anything else that changed

Given my problem was created by incorrectly setting a debug option, are
there things in the Prefs folder that shouldn't be restored?
In your particular case it was the log.conf which caused problems. That
file you would probably never need to backup/restore. It's usefulness is
very limited.
