I have not used Musicip since I stooped using a Windows LMS server but
how do you tell LMS to scan the Musicip library? I thought the Musicip
fingerprints were stored in tags and the LMS scan was pointed to the
music folder as normal.

Ah windows .
Use an unc path instead of "K" ?
I'm really rusty on LMS on windows , but is it not a setting in LMS try
aplikation for user credentials in case LMS starts as a service and
needs to access user stuff like drives mapped

How did you start lms?
Seems as a service?
I should add to that response above and say that I still have my old
windows 7 machine on hand and am currently listening to music utilizing
mip and lms right now. Other than windows 10 pro on the new computer
all else is the same...
That device is mapped with a fixed drive letter and "everybody" has
"full permission" so I think I've got that covered. I am suspicious it's
something about seeing that drive, but other applications interact with
it just fine.
I think your right to look at mip and evaluate it specifically. Ill
Ok file permissions then ?
Why i asked is because the drive letters are not konstant they can
change as you plug in drives etc .
MiP i don't know much of it used it years back but only with the
sugarcube plugin so i did not let it handle the library in lms ?
Can LMS work with just a normal
I believe you are right, my problem lies elsewhere.
Yes the music is there, its been there for years. I can play it with
the musicip and other apps just fine.
Thanks for the response.

Yes there is 7.8 and 7.8.1 and 7.9 (the recommended choice imo ).
But it wont fix your problems , it's something else .
Is the files really residing on drive K for example ?

I realize now that I am running the last "supported" version of LMS
7.7.5 Any recommendations to a newer version to resolve my problem
described above?

I posted in that thread, didn't get any response. This was quite a

If I remove the certificate they play fine. The same method works fine
for streaming to my Chromecasts using the same method, SSL or not.
Anyone know why this won't work with LMS?
Squeezeboxen can't strea from https sources. I've added code to 7.9 to
proxy such streams. Did you try to use the

Very strange:
Tried another tag editor: TagScanner. And it also says: One cover, jpeg
image.
WHat is now wrong? Is the LMS scan wrong?

I've been trying to get my LMS to play streamed mp3 files that are
hosted on a local server using a Lets Encrypt SSL certificate. This is
is being pushed from my home automation platform, Home Assistant. These
files play just fine in my browser and other media players but LMS just
won't do it.
Hm...
mp3tag finds only one jpeg cover in it:

Very strange that LMS finds something different/more. Maybe, I should
try another tagging tool.
Here comes the version information:

Actually the XML is OK - the html is in CDATA blocks so it parses OK by
LMS - just the URL don't play. need more time.

Hi all
I'm having trouble adding a particular podcast to the LMS podcast list.
When I try to add the Accidental Tech Podcast URL
(http://atp.fm/episodes?format=rss) on the podcast setting screen, LMS
doesn't respond (at all).
I've tried with different browsers and different versions of LMS,
