Could you please set logging for plugin.musicartistinfo to INFO, and
artwork.imageproxy to DEBUG. Then make it crash again and send me the
server.log.zip?

Ok, I've finally been able to reproduce this issue. It happens for me
when there is an artist without picture. Debugging now. The best I got
so far:
(libev) select: No error

Update: It appears to be the 'Music and Artist Information' plugin and
the setting 'Artists photos', i.e. when setting to 'Show pictures (can
slow down browsing)' and in the browsing menu setting the 'Albumview'
option to 'Small Artwork' causes the crash.
Can you confirm it happens when you
Yes, it is under "additional browser modes", thank you very much.

I use media monkey for ripping and tagging, and it uses musicbrainz,
which is similar to freedb. I don't know alot about it. my experience is
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.28/auto/Audio/Scan/Scan.so
Did you ever install this yourself? That's not LMS', and likely the
culprit. What if you renamed this one (or moved it elsewhere, outside
any search path)?
What do you use with LMS to rip CDs?

The simplest way to get LMS on a Pi is to install either Picoreplayer or
Max2Play.
Here are the 'official' guides:

I think it's normal for us that use LMS to rip CD's and I wonder, if
anybody is aware of an alternative to freedb.org ?

Yes v1.6.10 updated yesterday.
I've just looked at the 'Music and Artist Information' thread and I
think my issue is very similar to ajs6000's issue.

I just installed a new instance of LMS on a laptop while away from home.
I am missing a random album menu item that used to appear under "my
music" and gave a list of randomly chosen albums from which I could
choose. Can someone remind me where this might have come from (plugin?
modified LMS
Hi,
Yesterday, and today, I've found LMS crashing whenever I attempted to
browse my library.
I can browse, and play music, from my Squeezebox but not from my PC.
Everything else appears okay, e.g. 'Albums', apart from browsing 'Album
Artists', 'All Artist', 'Composers' or 'Genres'.
