Ok

Some have claimed it was a legacy thing.

Dear all,
you have resolved my problem – I want to say »Thank You«. This
post has thrown up some side threads, and that's all right. I just want
to say that my original problem has been solved and that I am in contact
with the radio site's admin to have the MIME type changed.
Thanks to everyone!

system tray?
Does the Control Panel hang showing the splash screen or does it stop
itself?
You could check the running processes using Windows Taskmanager:
right-click Windows status bar and select the Task-Manager. When it's

There are people here with the skills to almost certainly resurrect your
SB Radio (or help you bring it back it life yourself).
As you have seen, LMS can indeed act as a UPnP server. I suspect that
you would find the menu system more difficult to navigate from a UPnP
device but you would still b

My poor SB Radio has had its day. I do have a Receiver and that is going
strong. I am looking at buying a radio that has UNpN protocol. Now I am
a little out of depth with this. I was playing with Plex and I used a
VLC media player. Much to my surprise, the LMS was visible and I

No problems, apart from how do you start in safe mode when you can't
access the control panel? Is there a command prompt command one
can use?
This is getting complicated. But seriously: nothing seems to be working.
I'm not sure we have to look into scanner issues before you can get the
