Not really as LMS will always re-try from where it paused. In other
words, when there is a redirection of an url, LMS only keeps the final
redirected one (to simplify). When paused, under various conditions, it
stops the

I found this post looking for why CBC One Vancouver stopped working for
me. I appreciate the info and I was able to get it going with the HLS V2
plugin and the playlist link.
At the same time as the OP user experienced problems the two CBC English
stations in Vancouver also disappeared from the

I'll post my script tomorrow. It's very simple but you would need to
have that URI::Encode module installed - maybe it's part of the standard

Thank you for
Resetting and setting up mesh wifi from scratch solved the problem. Now
I know what to do the next time this happens, but by then I will have
forgotten and will have to go through this whole process again. Thanks
for your help.

Yes I did - what happens is that the URL is redirected and when you
pause, LMS closes the connection (depending on player's buffer fullness,
but that's details...). When it re-opens, it

Tried resetting one player to proxy. No difference. Dropout persists.
Player data:
Player Model: Squeezebox Receiver
Player Type: receiver
Firmware: 77
As I mentioned, everything worked OK until two days ago. What else can I
check?

If the player cannot play AAC native - it will make no difference.
WebUI/Settings/Player//Audio/Streaming Method set to
"Proxied Streaming"
How do I do that? I have never had to make any adjustments to the
default settings.

Cheered too soon. Not solved. LMS refuses to scan the external hard
drive again.
Nothing has changed in the settings of LMS or of the MacBook, but after
two days LMS refuses service.
- Whether access to the hard disk has been canceled
- Or LMS is not working properly.
I think the latter because

Uninstalled, reinstalled 8.2.0, problem still exists.
I have tried several streams and found that a stream at 32kbps plays
properly, but streams at 64kbps and 256kbps suffer from the intermittent
dropouts.
Rebooted internet modem. Speed tests at 80mbps.

Thanks all for your help diagnosing this.
I don't think it has to do with the KNKX / Jazz24 streams. The same
symptom occurs here:
https://stream5.opb.org/2440_64.aac
My next attempt will be to completely uninstall LMS and reinstall. I'll
let you know if it makes a difference.
Thanks guys! :)

Don't limit to 500MB. There's little reason to not use all of it.
Michael

Can i only do this to get more space?

Suddenly my LMS stopped running, use 8.1.1
Try to restart LMS and the picoreplayer.
Most likely you're running out of disk space, or your file system is
corrupted. How large is your partition?
