Noone? Updating my QNAP TS-119 to the actual LMS would be appreciated.
Or is it that I am stuck with 7.9.4 due to the aged armv5 achitecture?

By the way, this works so seamlessly that I can remote control my

accessing the same LAN that they're connected to.

Just to clarify: I am in no way suggesting that you should ignore Jim's

I would like to be able to stream to my android phone over the cell

Id look for a line level headphone amp so that you can have both

Hi Robert,
My view is different in Spotty LMS (web or mobile interface) and I don't
see these options.
Here is my web view and we can see in NEW MUSIC both NAS library folders
and Spotty ones. I'd like to keep only the NAS ones in this folder.

It is possible to run LMS and players without access to Internet.

ALso - you can configure LMS to not use mysqueezebox.com at all - but
that should not be necessary (and reduces flexibility if you do have
internet available).

I will not have that discussion with him. ;) Enough quibbling about such

Ive just looked at specs. It will be PCM that is sent to the streamer.
PCM is effectively WAV.
As Slarti says he wont be able to tell a WAV from a FLAC assuming same
source CD and no replay gain etc

So I guess it can play those formats.

Hello
Did a search, but keywords very common and can't find anything.
Have a mate that begun to use LMS with a SoTM streamer. He prefers to
use WAV files.
Anyone know from the top of their head how to check how the WAVs are
sent on the network and how to configure to send them as WAVs?

Well, first things first - presumably you are using the Spotty plugin.
Do you also have the Online Music Library Integration plugin installed?

I just did so. PCP tells me, that just 100 MB of space are left. LMS
does not start any more.
Do you have multiple partitions? How large is your memory card?

The Online Music Library Integration plugin allows two library views -
one of these shows local tracks only. That option might do what you
want.
