Huge thanks for your help, @RobbH. LMS did appear to get upset when the
NAS mount was lost, because our trio of Squeezeboxes automatically
brought up the menu
Replying to my own thread in case anyone else is in the same boat. I
just discovered that DietPi has the ability to configure network share
mounts through its 'Drive Manager utility'
(https://dietpi.com/docs/dietpi_tools/#dietpi-drive-manager). I don't
know how it'll handle reboots, but it
I started running into issues with my longtime LMS install on a ReadyNAS
and decided to (finally) migrate it to my Raspberry Pi, which is running
the current version of DietPi.
Unfortunately, I'm a bit lost when it comes to setup, mostly because the
music shares live on the ReadyNAS.
I started
Happy to try it in a little bit. I'm still on an aging Mac mini running
10.15, but Apple's rumored to release an update to the mini at a March 8
event. Planning on upgrading as soon as an M1 Pro/Max variant is
available.

Thanks, @mherger. I realize that the ReadyNAS platform is dated and as
good as EOL. I'll probably be moving LMS to a Pi instance in the next
year or
I've had LMS hosted on a ReadyNAS for ages. Ever since the internal
software update mechanism stopped working, I usually upload the 8.3
amd64.deb nightlies through the NAS' GUI every week or so.
Today I uploaded 8.3.0_1641914771 but LMS doesn't seem to be running
properly afterwards. Going to

I have the exact same folder setup: same plugin folders under
LMS:Settings:Info, same symlink in /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Plugins
etc.
The only

Can't thank you enough. Replies like yours are what sustain my faith in
the Internet.
The only hiccup that I've seen is the NPR plugin, which is the one you
highlighted in your example. I copied it to
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins and
Before I start tinkering and get myself in trouble, I was wondering if
anyone had any experience upgrading an LMS 7.x install on the Netgear
ReadyNAS to LMS 8.x?
I'm running a 626 (Intel Xeon CPU) with OS 6.10.3 and v1.0.9 of
Poussin's LMS plugin. I've had 7.9.x configured to automatically

That Zettaly Avy looks like it's right up my alley.
What sort of LMS player do you use on it? Is it chintzy like some of the
Amazon reviews state, or is it pretty decent?
I noticed there's a new Zettaly model (ZA-347) that

It is and it isn't. I probably differ from the DIY/homebuild crowd on
this, but I'd much rather have an affordable consumer device with
effortless native supportand ideally a built-in touchscreen browser and

Thanks in no small part to plugins like ShairTunes2 and AirBridge as
well as controller software like iPeng, I've just rediscovered the
beauty of LMS and am looking to purchase new LMS-compatible players for
other rooms.
My setup is LMS nightly hosted on a ReadyNAS 314 with one Logitech
