On the download page there is a :
IMPORTANT: Existing ReadyNAS users, please read here for important
upgrade installation instructions.
The link goes here, but fails on the custhelp.org site.
logitech-en-amr.custhelp.coms server IP address could not be found.
A symptom of "March Madness"?
I have noticed the same, in general especially when a couple of games
were on.

I set up LMS on a homebuilt TrueNAS Core system jail last night. It took
about 20 minutes to set up. The LMS app is available from a (long )list
of community supported stuff.
The jail is a FreeBSD VM, so it runs completely separate from the NAS,
though you can use storage on the NAS ( music, etc
One of the best things I have ever bought into.Always improving and
innovating while my original receivers still work.

There is also this thread about removing and refreshing the certificates

So if logged in as root to the ReadyNas, what does this return?
apt list --installed |grep logitech
You should see only one listed, something like:
logitechmediaserver/now 8.2.1~1628312519 all [installed,local]
And what version of the ReadyNas OS6 are you running?
I was getting the ssl
Do you still have the 1.09 App installed ?
You would still see the Logitech Media Server control on the ReadyNas
app page.
Uninstall that and reboot and see if the problem goes away.
That version is where the error comes from, it has it's own old perl
stuff.

Did reboot. Same thing.
Poking around a bit I see that systemd starts
Since upgrading my log has been doing this about every 10 sec.
Any thoughts on how I could fix it? CPAN?

You are welcome. Until I move on to another brand of NAS, Readynas has
worked well for me.
I put the file up for download as a zip, extract the .deb file before
uploading to the ReadyNas.

Try this link.
It is my copy of the file It was created by a guy from the Netgear forum
years ago, but it still works.
His dropbox seems to have gone away and I can't find another source.
It's a zip. Upload that first, then the other LMS file. If you already
uploaded the other , no problem.
You want to get this one:
Logitech Media Server: Debian Installer Package (ARM)
logitechmediaserver_7.9.4~1598243812_arm.deb47.15 MB
If it is a first time install you also need the lms_1.09_all.deb.

The Netgear labeled packages are for the older readynas. The 214 has the
OS 6 which works with debian packages.

Welp, time to upgrade to dbpoweramp.
Pretty slick. What took me so long?

Sad.
I have been using cdex for a long time. It has defaults of freedb and
musicbrainz
I have had limited success using MusicBrainz.
What are some other db's that are 'free to use' for metadata from an
application like cdex?

I seem to be running into a problem of sorts with 7.9.1 on my readynas
516.
LMS works, but I am having trouble installing or changing plugins.
It looks like missing Perl modules. I tried to add them with CPAN and
got other errors.
Sadly I am one of those guys who goes for easy answers and
I got the 7.9.1 files from the nightlies uploaded and installed them and
then reinstalled the 1.0.9_all.deb which replaced the 1.0.6 a while
back.
You can get it here:

This should be sticky.
I talked to some people at a concert last week who have some kind of
home streaming to their phones ( Not LMS ).
I asked them about VPN, nope just made a hole. Like they saw a youtube
video on how to do it.

Will the LMS 7.9 show new versions available on the web page or do I
need to keep an eye out?
I was sort of keeping track of nightly updates when there was a
significant fix.

Been noticing the same thing.
No changes on my LMS server, and nothing on my router or cable modem
logs about errors or loss of signal.
It happens on both our Boom and receiver boxes with internet radio. Not
music streamed from the LMS library.
