have been able to install LMS through Docker. But the only way I can
get it to map my music folder, is by granting "Read Only"

does, you may need to download LMS 7.7.6 at the Synology.com
download-package-SqueezeCenter page. (I have not found a more recent
version that will run with this processor, but would welcome correction,
as 7.7.6 is inferior

Then delete Perl
then install old version of Perl

My LMS stopped working today on my Synology NAS DS218+. It's still there
but it does not start. PERL is updated to 5.28.3.-0077, and specifically
mentions that LMS is EOL and will fail to start.
So I want to try to downgrade PERL to the previous version and block
automatic updates.
