This thread is about LMS 8.1.1 - which you should install before
anything else. I actually added some code today to enforce LMS 8.1 if

These are not 3rd-party plugins, but plugins that come with LMS but are
not activated by default.

The value here is 2.060, I also tried Ping:

https problems perhaps.
What do you see in LMS Settings/Information for
IO::Socket::SSL
mine shows
IO::Socket::SSL: 2.068
If yours is much earlier then https problems are quite possible.

Yes many active plugins listed like Additional Browse Modes, Amazon CD

Tried http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml but failed as
it's redirected to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ which is not
On the LMS Plugins tab, do a text search for "Material Skin". If
Material Skin is not found, it might be that LMS (temporarily) cannot
connect to an xml file in which the 3rd party plugins are listed. AFAIK
this xml file resides on a Logitech server. Do you see other 3rd party
plugins on the LMS
Thanks for so great work, would like to have Material Skin too, the
MaterialSkin wiki said it's an official 3rd-party add-on, but can not
find it in the Plugins Tap, ever tried 8.2.0, no good luck too.
I am using ARM deb package.
The reason I am asking this is because here we have troubles

Your Joggler that is acting as a player probably needs a software update
to allow it to talk to LMS 8.
See my post over on the Joggler specific forum site

I'd suggest you post to a Joggler specific thread, or start your own. It
might require an update, but I'm not familiar with it.

Hi as part of a server upgrade I have freshly installed LMS
8.1.1-1610364019 on Ubuntu 20.04 server, with two players, a Classic 2
and an old O2 Joggler running Squeezeplay 7.7.2 r9710 that sends output
via USB into a DAC/Amp. The LMS and the players are all connected by
wired ethernet. This

No, you'd have to build the binaries yourself. Or somebody I don't know
did it.

Net-UDAP is free software - you do not have to pay for it.

I've noticed on the 8.1+ versions of LMS that I no longer get the
message at the bottom of the default UI when "Plugins have updated.
Restart required." I only see this notice if I go to the "Settings" >
"Plugins" page which means I often am unaware. This on latest version
of Chrome/Win 10.
Does this mean I need to start again with a fresh download to continue
to receive 8.1 nightlies?
Yes, if you want to have the 8.1.2 nightlies, you'll have to install the
first one manually.
