This is a good hint. I recently dealt with a similar issue as the OP. In
my case what appeared in mp3tag as a single YEAR tag with duplicate
values (separated by ;)
The sentinel file and "delete/re-add" methods should work. Could this
be an issue of ID3v1 vs. ID3v2 tags being out of sync?
