Well it is embarassing.
Yesterday I reactivated my linux server, and had the same issue (songs
not streaming but instantly jumping to some offset position). Then I
thought I should update the SqueezeServer (from 7.9.1) to 7.9.2 without
improvement, and then wanted to do the same on the windows
Ended up doing factory resets and all updates on all 4 squeezeboxes,
uninstalled (again) LMS and cleaned registry, etc., reinstalled, updated
firewall to allow LMS. 3 out of 4 work now.
After this headache, I'm thinking of getting a Raspberry and just
hooking my external hard drive up to that.
I think the GetPriorityClass error message is not fatal and not your
root cause.
How are you starting LMS ? as adminstrator ?
On the Web interface - do all your players show up in the drop down box
on top RHS ?

Did you remove the MAC address here? If yes, was it the MAC address of
your iPhone's iPeng? That's how I get those log entries.

Since 7.9.1 is working fine for me on Win10 pro I'm wondering if some
update to your anti-virus might be blocking LMS??

Completely uninstalled LMS, deleted temp files, all references to
squeezebox or LMS on hard drive and registry. Restarted computer.
Reinstalled version 7.7.5...and, same problem.
