You can't - it is a network setup issue - streams comes Spotify will
arrive at router go to LMS then go to router then to player, files
streamed from LMS will go from LMS to router to player. This means
twice as much wireless

I would separate ALAC & Flac from Spotify when using a wireless LMS as
whern using a wireless LMS there will be 2 wireless hops streaming
unlike direct streaming from LMS
Well, it's been two days, and it hasn't gone wrong once, whether playing
ALAC FLAC or Spotify.
Still on 7.9.1, and with ALAC streaming disabled, so hope it's OK now.
I've taken the LMS PC off the extender, and it's now running on the
router direct, albeit still wifi as I can't get cables

It "feels" like the player is running out of data for some tracks as
player buffers are initially filled and then topped up as playing
continues. If buffers cannot be topped up in time - player will stop.
How is the SBT connected to LMS ? wired / wireless / extension /
homeplug etc.
Can
Hey Serge
Well I'm now out of my comfort zone.:(:o
First thought, is that I had a Windows 10 update last week sometime.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro v1903 OS build 18362.657 and have v1909
lurking in the wings.
It is just possible (as everthing has been fine) that an update has
caused some

So far it's always been a alac track from my music library, but last
night it was doing it on Spotify.
This morning I've put it back to 7.9.1 and it's been OK

Hi Ronnie, yes very well, thanks.
LMS on Windows 10, and it's been fine until the update to 7.9.2
S
Each time I update LMS, I have to remember to change "Defeat destructive
Touch-To-Play" to "Do not defeat". If I remember correctly, the music
will stop after each song if I don't.

Further to the above, I've now updated LMS to 7.9.3, but with the same
result. I've also confirmed it'a doing the same on Spotify, albeit not
at 30 seconds in, more at random.
The SBT didn't show an update available, just LMS.
Really annoying, so any ideas very welcome.

A few days ago I did an update to 7.9.2 and activated Spotty as I got a
Spotify subscription. I also updated the software on the SBT itself.
Since then, I get the occasional (perhaps one in 10) tracks that won't
play past around 30 seconds and the SBT goes on to the next track.
