I was able to move it to an existing media folder directory, and scanning is fine...my plm is if I wished to move it to a higher directory ... i.e. from /storage/mp3/Opera to /storage/Opera Not a huge issue since everything scans ok etc.., I just see no errors etc which may explain why I cannot

same as the other folders .. I can have the content as a subfolder of an existing directory ... Are you saying that your opera folder already is part of one of the others? If so that would likely be why it doesn't add it. But then I wonder why you would want to add it anyway... -- Michael

Sorry - don't know the OS, but I seem to have the same issue adding a new media folder to LMS, using the browser ... I have 9 folders currently setup ... trying to add a 10th called opera, but it does not allow me to apply the new folder... The directory permissions are the same as the other

Thanks for all your input. Permissions are fine. It does look like its an issue with the apply button on the control panel. Try different things but nothing is applying. Did you do the test suggested, removing one of the existing folder to add the one that fails? Just to see whether it's the

You can check folder permissions. With the tools on your OS or I guess NAS where the files reside . Another messy way to confirm with LMS is actually trying to browse to the folder ie adding ,it if itÂ’s invisible it most likely a permissions problem . To exclude the idea that it has something

Is there a limit on addding media folders on LMS? It wont let me add anymore. There's no built in limitation, but I haven't tested how far you could go. Issues usually don't crop up without leaving any note in server.log. What does it say? -- Michael
