I got a Y cable on it and there is about a 2 sec. delay if that. Not

Many ways to do the same thing. I think addgroup command can also be
used to add user to a group - in this case audio.
On some system the delay between a sound on input and being heard on a
SB player can vary between about 0.2sec to 5-10 secs depending on some
system settings, network and
Looked it up on Google and I think his is the one command would use to
add music to LMS.
Code:
usermod -a -G music squeezeboxserver
I all ready did it in Webmin so not sure if this would work.
But that is what got LMS to start playing from the
Looking up how to add user music on Google but never found it.
Went in Webmin under "System" then "Users and Groups" clicked on
"squeezeboxserver" and under "Secondary groups" has a log list can add
under "All groups" I seen "audio" and click the right arrow to add it to
"In groups" clicked
Did what you said but it still does not work. I tested little changes in
the wavin: plughw:1,0 like you said no space. I did that and the most it
will look like it plays is 3 sec. But no sound at all.

That is what it looks like now. Maybe it is some music permissions. How
do I check that

Looked at http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/WaveInput_plugin and had
to add under "Favorites:" a name of "WaveInput" and url of "wavin:0" But
I get no counter moving.
Tested changing the URL to "wavin:1" and the counter goes to just 3 sec.
then quits. I hear no sound.
This will show a lot
Did this command:
Code:
arecord -D plughw:1,0 -d 5 -f S16_LE -c1 -r44100 test4.wav
It recorded like a 5 sec audio from the mic. Mono type sound.
So I know it works if just can get LMS to add it like a song.

So I guess can't use VLC on a linux server.
Put the "Additional Repositories" in and it came back with:
Bad repository http://bpaplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml - 404
Not Found
Wanted to install the WavInput. How would I do that?

You can use two
1. VLC to create a http stream
2. the WAVinput plugin - depending on the OS and the audio subsystem -
it can be simple or tricky to setup
