Looked it up on Google and I think his is the one command would use to add music to LMS. Code: usermod -a -G music squeezeboxserver I all ready did it in Webmin so not sure if this would work. But that is what got LMS to start playing from the

Looking up how to add user music on Google but never found it. Went in Webmin under "System" then "Users and Groups" clicked on "squeezeboxserver" and under "Secondary groups" has a log list can add under "All groups" I seen "audio" and click the right arrow to add it to "In groups" clicked

Did what you said but it still does not work. I tested little changes in the wavin: plughw:1,0 like you said no space. I did that and the most it will look like it plays is 3 sec. But no sound at all. 25384 That is what it looks like now. Maybe it is some music permissions. How do I check that

Looked at http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/WaveInput_plugin and had to add under "Favorites:" a name of "WaveInput" and url of "wavin:0" But I get no counter moving. Tested changing the URL to "wavin:1" and the counter goes to just 3 sec. then quits. I hear no sound. This will show a lot

Did this command: Code: arecord -D plughw:1,0 -d 5 -f S16_LE -c1 -r44100 test4.wav It recorded like a 5 sec audio from the mic. Mono type sound. So I know it works if just can get LMS to add it like a song. -Raymond Day

So I guess can't use VLC on a linux server. Put the "Additional Repositories" in and it came back with: Bad repository http://bpaplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml - 404 Not Found Wanted to install the WavInput. How would I do that? -Raymond Day
