Check laptops IP for both wired & WiFi, make sure it's the same subnet.
Your router might be placing WiFi devices on a separate/different
subnet.
Might be a "guest" network setup.

I have reported this as well. I also think it is DNS related not base
networking. I have actually wondered whether one of the LMS name servers
has some obsolete entries as it seems hit and miss to me which would be
consistent with a name server mis reporting the IP
Hi, first let me say thanks to everyone on this forum as I've
fixed/improved a bunch of stuff by reading all this information.
Second, just installed 7.9 with max2play. Works great! No on to the
question.
OK, I'll just admit it, I can't really understand how do deal with play

You can add tracks to, or delete tracks from a playlist, then save the
playlist.
You can drag and drop the tracks within the list to reorder them, then
save the playlist.

Assuming JRiver is on a Windows PC, then the file paths won't be the
same as those as required by LMS on your max2play install.
I do this myself, create a playlist with JRiver, and edit the file paths
in Notepad.
Pics below show JRiver playlist and same playlist as required by
Good Morning,
I have an issue where the Tidal app has disappeared from under My Apps.
It previously had been there. The app is installed and configured in
the MySqueezbox.com site.
I am using a Synology device to host the LMS and it up to date on Ver:
7.7.6 - 113
If any one has any ideas I
For me, this is the problem with LMS, can you suggest any way of doing
this process very fast or I need to stay for a new version of LMS where
I can see this change.
Don't use LMS to create the playlist, but whatever other tool you prefer.
If I knew what you intended to do with that playlist,
Nice. 45 seconds to scan 25000 tracks and about 5000 photos/videos for
the uPnP server plugin...

Thanks Michael... I've been keeping up with the 7.9.0 betas for a while,
but now-a-days only on a monthly basis. I remember the days when I
updated my server almost daily. Thanks again and congrats!

Thanks Michael for keeping LMS alive and breathing!
I loaded Logitech Media Server version 7.9 this morning on my Mac Mini.
It successfully loaded and when completed, the system preferences dialog
box opened. Rescanning didn't automatically start (I waited about a
minute), so I just went to the
My desktop just blew up so I am trying to run a fresh LMS 7.7.5 install
on my old Win10 32bit laptop. The SB3s are wired to the router.
Everything works fine if the laptop is also wired in. But if the laptop
is connected wirelessly, then the SB3 sees the laptop's media server but
fails to

Just a wild guess but perhaps LAME needs to be installed. Do MP3s play
on the PC outside of LMS?
