Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Multiples of many albums showing up after the last few nightly updates.

2018-01-30 Thread Howard Passman

Thanks Toby, that got me started.

Apparently the problem came up when I moved playlists from one server to
another. Some of the paths in the play lists were /mnt/Music and some
were //mnt/Music.

Thank goodness I only had about twenty playlists to go through.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Howard

Can I go home now?

Everything fine now for "nightly only updates" setting. Was upgraded
today to 7.9.1 - 1517314665 automatically. :D

That's not exactly what I meant. :)

For example:

"Queen" and "queen": Same results
"" and
"": Not the same results:
While I get results for the first search, I don't get any on the
second.

That shouldn't happen, should it?

That relays on the local settings of you're system.
That option can be found and set in the config of you're Qnap webgui.
In the Qnap forum there is a discussion regarding this issue.

Yes, updates are working!

Do you by any chance noticed that full text search is case sensitive
when unicode is involved? Or is it just my setup?

(see 'LMS search doesn't support Unicode?'

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS@Raspbian - wake up external USB HD attached to router

2018-01-30 Thread doubleugk

I'm testing the LMS on a Raspbianpi Zero running Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.
Everything is working fine so far. Because of the limited power support,
I've attached my USB 3.0 HD to my Fritz.Box router. When the HD is idle
for more than 10 min. it goes to sleep, that's fine, but not for the
LMS. A request playing a song doesn't wake up the HD.
Any clue on how to resolve this issues, of course I don't want to keep
the HD running permanently.

I know that linux ( on which QTS is based), is very sensitive on Upper
and lower uses.
So i think as LMS it using this as base, it will also be in LMS.
I made the setting charset default load utf8, to give a better support.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Recommended / Official API

2018-01-30 Thread JeffHart

All,

Am starting to play around with Mycroft.ai and would like to make it a
project to build an LMS skill. Currently running Max2Play on one RPI3
and Picroft on another. Picroft is Python oriented, but i would prefer
to use the API supported in the main distro. Can anyone point me in the
right direction?

Many thanks,
Jeff

2018-01-30 Thread digimaster

Try this.
Logon by ssh shell, do [ cd /share/*/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer
[ ./LogitechMediaServer.sh stop]
[ rm -R /opt ]
[ chown -R squeezeboxserver:everyone SlimServer/]
[ chmod -R 0755 SlimServer/ ]
[ ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start ]
[ ./LogitechMediaServer.sh status ]

And then do [ ps | grep [L]ogitechMediaServer ]

And have a close look on what apps there are installed.
Because on youe Qnap there is a app interfering LMS from showing
the webgui.

Sure Albums and Playlists are in separate folder paths? If in same
folder structure LMS scan will interpret as duplicate listings.

Incorrect:
C: Music > Albums
C: Music > Playlists

Correct:
C: Music > Albums
C: Playlists
