So, the default "Song mix" that appears in DSTM is distinct from any
choice available in "Random Mix". I'd like to know more about DSTM's
unique "Song mix".

Thanks all. I decided to start from basics so I stripped all the Stivell
albums out of my music folders and rescanned. And, lo! another album
showed up in the Various folder. Interestingly, this album doesn't have
Artist names tagged - they all just say "Various" and the artist names
are in the

On LMS WebUI - on LHS pane drill down to the track and there is a "View

It was just strange that it worked (in the active playlist) but didn't

Right, all your favorites should show up there, if that option is
checked in settings. I have Random Songs saved as a favorite.

So your favourite "Random Songs" in DSTM is just a link to Home/My
Music/Random Mix/Random Songs, nothing to do with DSTM, that's why
you're seeing

shown - it'll make it easier to post.
- Try to sort out database issues - use "clear library and rescan
everything" to remove the database messages.

OK - so that was the clue I needed. This thread describes what seems to
be the same problem as I have:
Mystery solved. I thought it was the Various album that was causing the
problem but it wasn't. It turns out that it's an album in Vorbis format
with imbedded tags. I don't see all those tags in LMS, in Tag, or
in mp3tag. I'm not sure how to actually view or edit those tags but I
think a simpler

I did this and set the
Mp3tag will display Vorbis tags. Load the files, highlight all,
right-click and select "Extended tags". You can add/edit/delete there.

Searching by artist name, my Spotify albums appear ... very nice indeed.
However, when I select "More" for an album, I don't see that the album
is coming from Spotty rather than my own local library; it would be
useful to see that kind of info for the album.
