Hello, seems I have run into exactly that problem now: LMS on my QNAP-NAS was upgraded automatically to version 8.3.0-1637794470 on 25.11.2021 and doesn't launch anymore. I never understood how and where to change the default "upgrade" setting to "no upgrade" within QLogitechMediaserver. Anyway: How can I get LMS running again after it has obviously been upgraded to an instable dev nightly version? In the long run it would be nice if digimaster could point the "upgrade" option to the "stable" nightly version like Michael suggested above. I have not yet been able to determine whether there is a dependency on a certain stream. Today the Deezer artwork and metadata got lost when switching off an SB Radio. funkymaster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69814 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113768 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Do you have blocking enabled in Settings/Advanced/Security ? Maybe your new ISP has supplied a new router and your local IP addresses have changed from something like 192.168.0.xxx to 10.0.0.xxx and some old filtering rules that you had in place no longer work. However, you are on Windows ... so maybe it has flagged your current IP connection as not being at home - so it is preventing connections. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Slim::Networking::Slimproto::slimproto_accept (179) unauthorized host, accept denied:
I switched to a new ISP and afterwards LMS finds no players, not even Squeezelite (I'm using the Local Player plugin). And the server log fills up with the error message in the title above: Slim::Networking::Slimproto::slimproto_accept (179) unauthorized host, accept denied: Anyone have an idea why that is? I'm running LMS on a Windows 10 machine and always been using Local Player plugin. I can access internet from the server. Any reason for network to be down/restarted/overloaded ? is the LMS server OS windows ? I find Windows and/or 3rd party applicationa on Windows can do some odd intense network activity at "quiet" times. The issue is the LMS network connection has failed - since it works all the rest of the time - the problem is likely a system rather an LMS one. Check the system logs to see if anything is happening at 6:00am. Other possibility is external interference (e.g. network connection uses Homeplug and an electrical heater is timed to turn on at 6:00am) bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115470 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
