Hi All,
I have been using LMS and PiCorePlayer on my Raspberry Pi for several
years now, with only occasional issues. Recently, when rescanning my
media library, pcp/lms sees only spotty albums and playlists, not the
files on my network share. Shared folder is on a Synology Nas.

Hi,
I am wondering whether 8.3 version of LMS is stable for usage ? If not,
when it is going to be ?
I know that we can downloaded it and use it but I would prefer
officially closed version, which has been fully tested.
It has been more than one year since we had a stable 8.2 version
FIXED: an in situ update of pcp did the trick

Well, thanks Kev, it seems you were right. The volume increase only
affected players which were linked to Spotify Connect. Removing the link
seems to have cured the problem and as I don't use Connect too much then
it won't be too much of a hardship to do without.

I thought (hoped) so as well but I have a CD set called 'Singles
1978-2016' on which the first track (of the first CD) is from 1978 and
the last track (of the last CD) is from 2016 but the album info (via
