I'll add that to the "apt" part of my script I realised that last night
while I was "tidying" the script that it was deb(os) but

Try the link on the main settings page where you can review the current
scanning status. I had a
After some experimentation, I found that the problem is that there is an
unreadable folder somewhere in the tree, and the scanner aborts rather
than ignoring in this situation.
I had deliberately made the folder unreadable because I was trying to

Well - reinstalled from backup image. Made no difference. Still get the
dpkg error.
Somethings strange with max2play - there's no LMS server info (eg.
status) - looks as if there's no server running. Yet, LMS is there and
working - just can't update it.
I can't face a total max2play reinstall

I am still using Slimnas v2.0.2 on a HP Microserver running FreeNAS. I
am using LMS 7.7.2. I have Duet with 2 receivers, and am about to
receive a Touch.
Is there a way to move forward to move on to a more up to date set of
software, with te same hardware?
Thank you!

Hi Jeff,
if you take a look @ the 'wiki'
Excellent. Many thanks Michael. Looking forward to your solution.
For now, I know how to work around the issue.
Enjoy the rainy day!

Hello guys!
Although being a long-term user of Logitech Squeezebox and LMS, I just
registered here as there is one problem I cannot solve on my own. I
trust in the experts here in the forum! ;)
I use the LMS plugin "DLNA Media Interface" by Andy Grundman. My LMS
correctly shows up on DLNA
which server are you updating?

This weekend I installed Lame on a Mac-Mini running Yosemite by
following these instructions

This might work on a more upto date OS

I now toggled the LMS service on the ReadyNAS and I can access the

Server.log says:

frame 1: Slim::Schema::Storage::throw_exception
I just rebooted my PC and ReadyNAS and now I no longer can access the

I am sure Michael is already thinking this way, but it seems likely your
router is configured to "route" all packets even internally on the
192.168.1 network. You may have a setting in the router that says "allow
lan clients to talk to each other". Tick it.

Thanks Michael for your prompt reply. Good to see we are in the same
time zone, eh even the same country :-)
Pls find the requested info below:
- IP of your router: 192.168.1.1
- IP of your LMS server: (ReadyNAS wired) 192.168.1.4
- IP of your client trying to access LMS: (PC wired) 192.168.1.3
Thank you Philippe, I will.
Forgive me if this has already been explained, but can a group player be
synchronised with another player? It would be nice if I could have the

the SB2, so I think perhaps a group player for the
