Finally had the time to go from 1.5 to 1.7. 1.5 was running fine. I followed all the directions for a clean install and had no errors. I had to add '-R' to the 'prefs' copy back. However, it appears LMS did not recognize my saved Cache and prefs. I had to set up everything again which was easy since I only have one player right now. Is running now OK. But for some reason I lost my 'Favorites'. I cannot reproduce the error now. I replaced "Louÿs" by "Louys", and the scanning went through. When I restored the previous orthography, the scanner error didn't occur.
