Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Logitech Media Server 7.9.1 is out!
I have not been able to connect my two radios to mysqueezebox.com I am able to connect to my wireless network and I'm also able to connect via ethernet cable. But I cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com. I just downloaded LMS 7.9.1 and installed it on my PC (Windows 10). I thought I'd at least be able to get some connectivity but my radio will not connect to my PC which now has LMS 7.9.1 up and running. Could use some help but I'm not sure where to start or if I'm actually posting in the right place. At this point, I have two Booms which connect directly to mysqueezebox.com but radios simply show a red WIFI signal. I redirected one radio to the prior (old) version of LMS and it seemed to be working fine until I upgraded to the version prior to 7.9.1 I now have a radio that will not connect to LMS or to mysqueezebox.com. I can connect to the network with WIFI and with Ethernet but no connection to LMS. Perhaps there is a firewall issue with LMS. Any assistance would be appreciated. ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108957 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

This is really frustrating. I've searched and searched the forum but can't seem to come up with the right search terms. As stated in the subject the "artist" tab is missing. I did a restart and now with the official release it updated to 7.9.2. The nightly 7.9.1 (April) -> official 7.9.1 (March) -> nightly 7.9.2 (April) routine is a bit confusing (having to run the updater twice due to the "official detour"). Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Logitech Media Server 7.9.1 is out!
Is there a reason why 7.9.1 was released? Mostly some of the security related changes. Some of you might have noticed that we did an official 7.7.6 release (3.5 years after 7.7.5!), too. We wanted those changes to also reach users of the stable versions. Any specific plans perhaps which are more fitting for a 7.9.2 version? I would love to tackle even a 7.10 or 8.0. But the ideas/wishes I have require more man power than I can provide. So we'll currently be stuck with 7.9.2 and minor improvements. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The Amd64 .deb of the official 7.9.1 is a lot smaller than the nightly build of 7.9.1 I was using until yesterday. Any reason for that? What build had you been using?
