Thanks for the tip Paul, which worked. Just to let people on here know,
in Control Panel > Network Settings > General on my Synology NAS, I
unticked the 'manually configure' option under 'IPv6 default gateway'
and am now sucessfully scrobbling again at
https://www.last.fm/user/AndyDandelion.

Perhaps your NAS is configured to use the DNS resolver of your old ISP
and they only allow it to work from directly connected customers.
So - you need to check the networking and in particular the DNS settings
of your NAS.
Local music works fine because DNS not needed for that.

Anyone here running LMS on Windows Server?
I don't find any way to get LMS starting correctly and opening the right
ports correctly. Each time I restart my server, and despite showing
proper settings in the Diagnostic box, LMS becomes not available on any
devices on my network.
