Thanks for sharing the information, for now I'm happy, but certainly an
option for the future!

Yep 1 Tb, sorry it is getting late here in The Netherlands!
A quick comment, the SSD drive makes a massive difference in searching /
scrolling for music (was just playing with iPeng), and showing the
artwork. Certainly improves the user experience!
Regarding the raspberry, if my Atom based
Thanks for the update. You must mean backing up and restoring 1*TB* of
music. 1GB would be super fast.
p.s. my vortexbox replacement is LMS running on rPi4B inside a flirc
case (all the size of a pack of playing cards), with 4TB USB drive
attached to the rPi. Super fast and very well
A quick update on this, I like to give some info back after asking! ;-)
In the end I went for a different route.
a) I installed a SSD disk in my little M-ITX DIY Vortexbox machine. This
for two reasons:

back-up and restore about
Well until this gets solved properly, I have just hacked into the plugin
and forced that test to always pass.
So far it seems to be working fine for me and generating the commands
that I needed to see, so all good :p
Code:
sub _testC3PO{
my $self = shift;
The error only occurs only when I install C-3PO, other than that all is
working fine for me and all modules are present and working. I am having
the same issue on Windows 7 also, not just on Windows 10.

Yes. In the meantime, the only advice the OP could try is to remove all
3rd party plugins and make srue the error goes away and then just
install C3PO - if error comes back then error is

All modules use it when scanning the headers of an audio stream or file.
Some use it implicitly (I.e called as part of

I don't know what plugins etc use that module, and whether the updates
are needed for this plugin on 7.9.2/3. In Marco's

Don't think Audio::Scan has been updated on

Thanks. I dumped the song object, but it has the same behaviours -
there's caching.
If you rename the favourite (I added NAME), then LMS still reports the
original favourite name for a while. After a time delay (hard to
measure) the title reverts to the favourite name.

I am having exactly the same issue on 7.9.2. Just did a complete removal
