Hi, As of yesterday am not able to play anything via the Tidal plugin. Tracks run for a few seconds and stop, no audio. The plugin has been working fine for a couple of years then Getting the following logged: Slim::Plugin::WiMP::ProtocolHandler::handleDirectError (114) Direct stream failed: [403] HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Checked my Tidal logon in in mysqueezebox and its fine, I have changed nothing recently anyway. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] CLI subscribe power missing state sometimes
I use the CLI to monitor the power state of my piCorePlayer to also power on/off the amplifier. Recently, the subscribe power command has been returning 'power ' without the 1 or 0 but not always. When this happens, my script now explicitly requests the power state using 'power ?' and this works properly. Still I think there is a bug with either the subscribe command and/or the power parameter. I just discovered this and thought it could be an easy way to get access to the old music files I hadn't yet migrated from my old Mac Mini (which used to be my server in the Apple - Airplay universe). So I installed LMS on the Mac (which was a breeze, took me less than 2 minutes), and presto, all there. Except that I can only browse by Artist, Album Artist, Years or Music folder.. Is there any way to also enable a browse by Genre option here? Hmm... I certainly see Genres here. Are you browsing it in LMS mode, or UPnP/DLNA? This started when I was using 7.9.2 but has continued after I upgraded to 7.9.3. It's some change on TIDAL's end from a day or two ago. There are several threads about it. What operating system are you on? What kind of players? What file format (lossy or lossless)? Many internet sites (include plugin repository) are moving over to https *only* with higher requirement such as TLS 1.2 or better. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Tidal runs with no sound for 4 seconds, skips a few songs, runs 4 seconds, repeat
This started when I was using 7.9.2 but has continued after I upgraded to 7.9.3. Tidal will show it's running for 4 seconds, but no sound. Then it will skip a random number of songs (could be 3, 5, 7) then show it's running for 4 seconds, then again skip a random number of songs. It does this until it reaches the end of the playlist. This does not happen when I play a playlist of local files on my computer through the LMS. Nothing shows in the log when this is occurring. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS keeps stopping
Using 7.9.2, on Windows 7. It used to stop every 24 hours or so, so I just had to restart it. I always had to restart it twice, because the first time it would stop by itself after a few seconds. It would keep running after I started it the second time. But now, it won't stay running after 10 tries to start it. I also tried starting in Safe Mode, but same thing. So how do I get it to continue running, please?
