Could you figure out the composers for the few albums shown in your screenshot? in fact i only set 2 composers blank (Hi-Res) Ok... so while you have found what could be considered a bug, you actually mostly hit it because you're "abusing" the system :D. Why don't you add a genre Hi-Res and filter on this? I've used a Raspberry Pi to run LMS for several years now. It was very easy to set up with piCorePlayer and LMS, it's easy to update. It runs 24/7, sits on top of my QNAP, powered by USB from the QNAP and connected via ethernet to the router. There is detailed and growing documentation at the pCorePlayer website. For 24/7 usage I'd recommend using a Raspberry Pi over a desktop PC any day. I've never used Docker, so I can't comment on how easy this is. If you have a desktop machine at home, another option would be to install LMS on that and use your QNAP simply as a file server for your music library. In Windows, you can set the QNAP music folder as a virtual drive and point LMS to that for the library. Whatever problem one *thinks* using something other than non-fixed volume causes would be the same with either output. For me, I use the Transporter Balanced Outputs to my pre-amp. I've seen some analysis done regarding the squeezebox digital volume control, and can't recall the specifics, but certainly on 16/44.1 files, there is lots of headroom to make digital volume adjustments given that these files are streamed as 24 bit to the players from LMS. I recall that to be very conservative if you had the preamp/amp volume set such that normal listening you had the Transporter volume set to around 60 or 70%, you'd not be losing any of the signal. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Lost connection to logitec media server
Hi, i'm using material skin with several erland plugins and a quite large library of 83.000 songs. I've created a custom menu with data from custom scan (Style and Mood). Often, not everytime Material skin lost connection to the server and the blue circle arrow blinks when i try to access those menus. After about 180 secs, the server (no more red circle in material skin) comes back with an empty Mood or Style menu. Then going back to Top menu and to Mood/Style menu again, the menu is shown. I was wondering if there would be a way to overlay a "Hi Res" icon or a "CD" icon on albums covers when browsing my library.
