I cannot see my mapped network drive on my LMS.

No, quite the contrary is true: a service can't see mapped drives. You'd
have to use the full path like \\server\share\folder, and the user
running the service
Hello,
I cannot see my mapped network drive on my LMS.
I read somewhere that LMS should be run as a service to see a mapped
network drive.
I uninstalled the application and installed it as "Run as Admin".
My computer is setup run without a login and password.
I have now changed the setting to
I did a little more testing tonight and it seems I was completely
over-nuking it with the above netns setup. Just explicitly using
127.0.0.1 for LMS, squeezelite and jivelite (via the above edit to
SlimDiscoveryApplet.lua using 127.0.0.1) works fine. I can boot up with
only the loopback up and

I'm sure I've told this story, here, before.
A good few years ago, we moved into our wickedly costly, elaborate,
restored second home in a little French southern village. What with one
thing and another I

I still haven't had a chance to try it. Too many soaps etc SWMBO has to
watch. I sometimes wonder why I bother with a sound system [emoji1787]

Hmmm - why wouldn't that work? Cue up, say 4 Radios - more or less
alongside each other - ready to start 4 separate streams, one for each
CD. Point remote. Hit

i have attached sample files for the script file and the actions.json
file. These work on a Pi running
Might well be that - although I don't have a "vers" in my CIFS mount and
it works fine.

You need to add the vers=? *vers=1.0* works for me, but try vers=2.0 or
3.0.

That is odd.
Can you open SSH session to the RPi (e.g. using PuTTY on Windows)?
after logging in - type
id
It should show
uid=1001(tc) gid=50(staff) groups=50(staff)

Yes, the mount error still exists:
uid 1001, gid 50 not exist.

OK - so stick with CIFS - it is usually the easiest to get working
properly.
If you reboot pCP, while still set as CIFS, do you still see a mount
error?

Under Setup Network Disk Mount I see:

If the mount command is failing then it will not be able to access the
music files - which implies that the playlists etc are not on the NAS
(or at least not at that mount point).
The NAS could be blocking it (access rights) or you probably have
incorrect parameters in the mount command.
What
If that does not work for you then an alternative approach is to enable
Andy Grundman's UPnP/DLNA Media Interface.
This alternative should let you use the menus on the radio to select the
music to play.

I am running LMS 8.3 on a raspberry pi with PiCorePlayer and point it to
music stored on my NAS (with DSM7).
Since a couple of months I am not able to connect to the NAS anymore. At
least not completely
I have entered the network disk mount details in the picoreplayer and
tried changing CIFS
Windows Music player is probably acting as a UPNP server and the radio
as a UPNP player.
If this is a the case try the UPNP/DLNA bridge - be wraredn UPNP is a
very loose standard
The plugin requires an application to run on your LMS server. Best go
to upnpbridge thread for queries.
I have a Revo Pixis RX. The Music Player function doesn't find LMS. I'm
told I will need to use Windows Media Player but before doing that I
thought I'd ask if there's a way I could get the Revo to work with LMS.
I want it to play MP3 files from a folder on my PC HDD containing spoken
