Interesting, one of my two Touchs has the same issue, all other (Radio,
one Touch and some Yamaha via Airplay) connect perfectly fine. Happened
in 8.3164716 but also in a version 4 weeks older than that.
Thought my daughter wrecked the thing...

It all now appears to be working. I think the main issue was with me
not being accurate enough with the name of the HDD I was mounting.
Also, Samba wasn't installed so that didn't help either.
