I all ready gave "squeezeboxserver" user Primary group "audio" and
secondary groups "audio" too.

When I did this command like it said a wile ago:
SUDO DPKG -I
/VAR/LIB/SQUEEZEBOXSERVER/CACHE/UPDATES/LOGITECHMEDIASERVER_7.9.2~1557815622_AMD64.DEB
It worked and I can't find that version any more else would install it
the last working version.

Been running Htop wile playing a Wave input and the Memory gradually
fills up. I guess it's LMS.

That screen shot shows it full.
As I type this looks like one red bar went in the Swap part. It locked
up before don't know if this is why.

If any one sees any thing that my lock it up can you let me know.
The wave input works good. Not sure it that's what locked it up but it's
the last thing I changed from when it started to lock up and this is the
2nd time now.

I think just using on the command line this:

arecord /tmp/test-mic.wav
To save to mp3 I guess add some other line to it with | or something or
just could convert it to mp3 later.

I got a Y cable on it and there is about a 2 sec. delay if that. Not
much but it don't matter to me.

It recorded like a 5 sec audio from the mic. Mono type sound.
So I know it works if just can get LMS to add it like a song.

So I guess can't use VLC on a linux server.
Put the "Additional Repositories" in and it came back with:

I looked at plugins but I don't think there is one for this.
I want to plug in the audio to my server with Logitech media Server on
it and pick that sound to play. Is there a way to do this?

I have not done that but if I am right the i is for install the p is for
over wight, and the r is for remove.
But not sure on this. I did not do it. Just did it in Webmin and it
worked.

produce a lot of output - pipe it through 'less' or 'more' !
I just installed pyTivo on it and it works and it uses port 9032 so the
ports seem to work.
