Yes, this fixed the missing track artist in LMS default skin. And -thank
you- for putting the track artist first!*!*! I guess the order on pCP's

The thing is I'm reasonably sure that LMS default skin's current client
playlist displayed *track* artists instead of -album- artists... once

Hi.
for tracks with album artists ≠ artist the *client's current
playlist* (right pane) in the LMS *default* skin *only shows the album
artist for these tracks*. So for compilation tracks I *only *get Various
Artists but not the artist's name.
And may be related: on pCP I get "Various Artists, a

So just to be clear, this command is *the* recommended way for a plugin
to add a track to a playlist?

If I do this:

Michael, is there any chance you could add support for CLI commands?

I've updated my first post.
I did test this with 8.0 at some point. Just now now I did with -8.1.0 -

Hey.
Short version:
When I create an *artists* menu using -Additional Browse Modes- it will
show me false positives on the second level down (albums for artists).
How do I get rid of them?
Check it out:
Take a library with 3 music files by 2 artists:

I don't run LMS on pCP but take a look at the -LMS Settings >

deleted/overwritten when you reboot pCP.
If that doesn't work you could use the same solution that I used for my

Hello.
Sometimes it happens that LMS shows the generic album cover (=missing/no
artwork) for -some- albums that do actually have album artwork embedded.
There's no discernible pattern to it. Just random, the more time since
the last wipe&rescan has passed, the more likely it is to happen.

Hello.
I'm trying to customize the *jivelite -NowPlaying- applet/screen*.
I have 2 questions I can't seem to solve on my own and I'm hoping you
can help me with:

If I understand the code of the NowPlaying applet correctly, it usually
only gets information like the track name, (album)artist,
Native support for more tags, related to classical music or not, would
be nice, agreed. But my guess is that it won't probably happen anytime
soon. It appears it would take quite a lot of work and testing to set it
up with all the changes to the database and creating the corresponding

-Kind of- means that there's still a quirk in the menu creation part I
need to work out. But that's only related to compilation albums showing
up on the second menu level where they shouldn't.. So nothing serious.
As for custom tags... I guess that might work. I don't use custom tags

Hi.
This problem concerns ALAC and AAC music files (so far). Every now and

I thought CustomBrowse and MultiLibrary used utf-8 allowing for special

Hi.
What's the correct *CLI command* to *add the currently playing track to
a playlist named "Review Later"* (if that's possible)? Over time I've
tried several commands but the tracks never show up in the playlist.
Oh, and an extra bonus would be: if for some reason I have accidentally

I understand you're being restrictive because you don't want infinite
follow-up requests. But maybe you could do only a basic "if playlist
artwork has been assigned, show it, otherwise behave as always" and then
go back to being super-restrictive on this? :) The ans
Hi.
Can I assign artwork to an entire playlist (I don't mean changing the
artwork of the individual tracks)?
So when the songs from this playlist are playing it would show the
playlist artwork and not the artwork of the individual tracks.
If this is already possible could you please tell me how
