I have been using LMS 8.2.1 on a Windows 7 laptop. I may still use it
on there sometimes, but my main use will now be on a Windows 10 laptop.
I plan to install LMS 8.2.1 on the W10 laptop.
I've read a few threads touching on this, but am unclear.
Which exact program files can I copy over
Thanks everybody for your help in solving this. Much appreciated!!

I searched in the squeezebox folder, and in the entire computer,

I ran it and it says something about the database image being malformed.

8.2.1 didn't help.

I'm using Norton 360 and disabled its firewall and checked the Windows 7
firewall was also off, but

I had 8.1 I think installed, and everything was working fine, until I
just rebooted my Windows 7 computer. After reboot, I could not get LMS
to start. It kept saying it was starting, and would sometimes even
briefly appear in the Windows Task Manager, but would always stop. I
did this as

BTW, I played a few cuts using the webplayer of Qobuz on my laptop, and
they sound like CD quality, not mp3, so I'm thinking the issue isn't
with what Qobuz is streaming out. But I could be wrong.

Thanks for your reply.
It has the same selection as in your picture.
basslover's Profile:
I just upgraded to 8.1.1 and Qobuz 2.4.9.
TIDAL has occasionally skipped from the middle of a song to the next
one.
Qobuz most of the time says it's playing 320 kbps mp3s, and it sounds
that way. My Qobuz account says I have the FLAC streaming and I'm all
paid up. Could this be something

Thanks for the info. Can one can revert back to 7.9.3 from 8.0?
For a couple of days this cleared up on its own. Now it's back. I
uninstalled and reinstalled the TIDAL plug-in in LMS. I uninstalled and
re-installed the TIDAL app on mysb.com. Qobuz works fine and doesn't do
this.
TIDAL (except for stopping randomly after a song, which Qobuz does as

Thanks for your reply. I'm on Windows 7? One Duet. TIDAL HiFi so
basically it's FLACs that are skipping.

Thanks for this information. I do need to upgrade to Windows 10,
Where is 7.9.4 please? The LMS upgrade tab says 7.9.3 is the latest.
This started when I was using 7.9.2 but has continued after I upgraded
to 7.9.3.
Tidal will show it's running for 4 seconds, but no sound. Then it will
skip a random number of songs (could be 3, 5, 7) then show it's running
for 4 seconds, then again skip a random number of songs. It does this
Thanks for your reply, bpa. Installing 7.9.3 seems to have gotten it
back working.
In case it would still help add to the knowledge base on the forum, here
is what my log said when it kept stopping using 7.9.2:

Using 7.9.2, on Windows 7.
It used to stop every 24 hours or so, so I just had to restart it. I
always had to restart it twice, because the first time it would stop by
itself after a few seconds. It would keep running after I started it
the second time.
But now, it won't stay running after
