Finally got back to looking at this post, and the one thing that was missing was under Problem 1/STEP ONE, I hadn't added added bash for Full Disk Access. Did that, restarted LMS, and I'm back in business. No more Spotify playlists! ;-) sr catosmr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115647 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Yes, I unlocked the panel, but strangely the "-" doesn't do anything. "+" pops up the dialog to select the app to grant access, but the - doesn't do anything. catosmr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115647 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Follow the steps to grant LMS full disk access. *** Right, I recall doing that a few years back so I still have perl and perl5.18 with Full Disk Access. On another thread, I saw that /usr/bin/sh was required which currently does not have full disk access, but not sure how to add that. I don't see it in /usr/bin. (Kind of smells like a DOS command!) [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS running but can't access media files
Error scanning file or folder: /Volumes/Macintosh HD/Volumes/External SSD/iTunes: Operation not permitted I've been having all sorts of issues over the past month with LMS and my SB player. Most recently I installed the latest version of LMS 8.2.0 and everything was working again, but only briefly. A day later, LMS couldn't access my media located on an external drive. I can see the drive from Finder app. Any suggestions? sr catosmr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115647 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS on MacOS 10.15 "Catalina"?
- But D perl5.18 into Full Disk Access solved this for me as well. The trick is you have to do it from Finder, and not from the System Pref pane, as the latter does not allow you to access system/protected files for some reason. Those protected files can be accessed via a standard Finder pane, by using the (Cmd + Shift + . (dot)) command. Then it's a simple D into Full Disk Access and a system restart. - catosmr> not quite following this step. Where is perl5.18? I see a folder labelled perl and then a subfolder labelled perl5.18. Is that what I'm drag-n-dropping into the Full Disk Access pane? ... catosmr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111037 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Hi there, Having just upgraded my OS to Catalina, I now am facing the same problem that LMS can no longer read my music library. I see this message in the log: Error: Failed when running main scan: [Couldn't open /Volumes/External SSD/iTunes/iTunes Library.xml I was so hoping when I granted Full Disk Access to perl my problems would be resolved. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't set Media Folders to next external drive
I'm running iMac with Majave 10.14. I recently installed a new external SSD drive, and copied my entire iTunes library to it. iTunes is running fine. In LMS (v7.9.2), however, I can't seem to change the Media Folders to point to the new location. It always reverts back to the previous folder setting. on the iTunes tab, I have specified: iTunes Music Library.xml Location to point to its new location on the external drive. But the Media Folders setting can't seem to be changed. Any suggestions?
