Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] C-3PO plugin, a trnscoding helper.
except the perl issue, now it is working, i had to uninstall the version i installed manually and then reinstall it from Paul EDO repository and now everything works, thank you all. Are there any best settings to activate/setup in order to bet the best of it? I'm testing currently 2 DACs: Allo Digi+ with AES/EBU output in one side connected in AES/EBU to my Pre-amp EMOTIVA XMC1 and on the other hand Allo Kali & Piano in dual mono mode connected in RCA to the same EMOTIVA pre-amp. ---- jayce996's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59455 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105309 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] C-3PO plugin, a trnscoding helper.
yes and that's what i'm doing right now, but my original issue is that on LMS the C3PO plugin is not working , it says "Squeezelite version is non compliant (Squeezelite-R2). Unable to run C-3PO transcoder, fault back to PERL. See server log." so i'm not able to manage SOX upsampling for my PiCorePlayer. And strangely when i'm following 'Soundcheck ' (https://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com/2011/04/resampling-if-you-cant-avoid-it.html)blog and recommendation, i'm not able to make it work by just creating and editing the custom-convert.conf file. So i did a try with C3PO, but i'm now facing another issue. I'm stuck in the middle. ---- jayce996's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59455 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105309 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

thanks for your inputs! I'm currently testing Tidal in parallel to Spotify at home and at the office, i clearly hear differences with the FLAC files. but then comes another aspect that i didn't though before, is the user interface and more particularly the random mix or the available playlists, where in TIDAL i'm surpirse to almost never heart something that i know and be poluted by some R/Rap music all the time ...anyway that's another discussion that does not need to be treated here. I've not yet started the creation of a new SD card with just Squeezeelite and compare it with my existing MoOde OS. that is for this week-end :-) jayce996's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59455 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110349 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

By the way, i'm doing this because my SBTouch is not anymore able to install EDO plugin, it says everytime (reinstall) but nothing happens, the kernel is not updating and the USB option not available. i was thinking that updating the server would also provide a new version of the player and then resolve my problem. jayce996's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59455 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108056 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
