It hasn't been established yet just what/which files/folders the OP wants to access. His music files are on a NAS which he can access. There's not been any mention of a USB drive/stick attached to the RPi, for which SAMBA would be required. You could make a "Library View" that just shows albums in a specific folder. As a test I created a folder named "Top100" and moved 3 albums into this folder. Clear library and rescan. Using Advanced Search create a Library View with the criteria "Path contains" - Top100. For some reason I thought this problem only happened when actually playing something using Discs and folders. Updated to latest LMS yesterday, didn't browse D until today, now all folders appear empty. It would appear that after restarting LMS D is only usable for about 1 hour.
