All seems to be well now thank you guys, i found the issue with the
playlist progression etc and the new controller is working great.

You might also want to try the Material skin plugin and try using it on
your Phone in place of squeezer - it's more modern
You install the Material plugin, then point a browser on your Phone to
http://lmsIPaddress:9000/material - there is also an apk for Android

Upnpbridge can do flow mode with icy metadata enabled would likely make
the track changes nicer.
Flow mode will play the playlist as a single radio stream to the upnp
player, eg it is not seperated tracks.

following your recommendation i can now do that with the upnp and use
squeezer allowing me access to what i wanted.
The only problem is massive delay in skip track etc actually executing
as well as the information updating within squeezer but its a start,
thank you.
If you use the upnpbridge plugin and get it working all upnp players
will be seen by LMS as players it can play to. They appear the same as
actual squeezebox players.

to play a file from the LMS media library?
What function does bubbleupnp have that LMS controlling upnp players can
not do?
Playlists are fully exposed from LMS control apps and web interface.

You have the same as me Ronnie, LMS shows in bubble but has less
categories for example it's missing playlists.
Conversely another server i have on the pc that can read music, does
have playlists but then misses others.
I realise that I have done this A about T (what's new) :o:o:rolleyes:
But I deleted Philippe's plugin and everything is the same, playing
through my Radio from the LMS Albums (a long delay before playback
starts)

For me its not clear what you want exactly. Playing music on your

I think bridge plugin is aimed at using LMS UI to send audio to an upnp
renderer and maybe only limited upnp control point or server

IIRC The "Media interface" plugin was initially implemented to support
Logitech product
