Reopening this thread. Pandora disappeared from the "my apps" tab when using LMS. It does appear when logged into my squeezebox.com. But when using LMS I get a notice "Pandora Error An unexpeted error occured while validating your mysqueezebox.com account. I can log into mysqueezebox.com just fine so I'm not sure what the problem is. Hi, I'm in middle of some system changes and the mysqueezebox.com Remote has stopped working with the Pandora app. Pandora will will show as a menu option on the remote app (in Chrome Web Browser), when I click on Pandora it displays my account email address and your stations... but when I click on Your Stations, it gives me "Your player is not authorized to use mysqueezebox.com". My saved Internet Radio stations work fine and I'm able to traverse those and the Squeezebox 3 follows along as expected. Thanks for the clarification. So I opened the LMS app settings on my computer by selecting LMS in the Mac OS System Preferences. I went to the Advanced tab, then hit the Advanced Settings button, which opened a LMS tab in my browser. What I'm seeing from your log is that a.) there were network issues which prevented LMS from reaching mysqueezebox.com, and b.) your players were not connected to LMS when you tried to use them. Michael, sorry it’s taken me so long to respond. I don’t exactly understand what you’re asking for. If I log into LMS (logitech media server), then I am connected to the music on my computer - it doesn’t show me “My Stations” — I only get that options when I am logged into mysqueezebox.com, and using the Pandora app. In LMS go to Settings/mysqueezebox.com and enter your credentials. This should give you access to the mysb.com based services through LMS. And if I am logged into LMS, then on the radio, in Settings>Advanced>Logging, I get the options for applet.debug.skin and applet.debug.touch. Which would I use? just uploaded log file. running LMS 7.9.1. During the log period, I tried to play a station on Pandora, would fail a couple of times, then play eventually. Then I'd change to another station and sometimes it would play immediately. Eventually changed to other stations where it would take 2 or 3 songs before I could get a song to play. Unfortunately I didn't see anything particularly helpful in your log file :-(. I see that it failed a few times before finally starting playback. But as for the reason, I have no clue. I thought it might be http vs. https related, as most streaming services are moving to using secured connections. The players from Logitech (SB, Touch, Radio etc) are not updated in their basic OS functions, especially the network stack may be outdated in some cases (e.g. https based streaming is not possible directly from these players). Just checked. It works on my radio. And a friend that only uses pandora via mySqueezebox.com thru his radio has had no issues in the last few months. So there is something else going on with your setup. Cant hurt to power down your radio, then your computer, then your router, then your modem. Then power up in reverse order, giving each item time to fully start before booting the next item. Also, at mysqueezebox.com, login to your account. Then go to my apps,then pandora, and on pandora page click the players tab. Same issue here. Tried deleting the cache as above and restarting, but it didn't help. Haven't changed anything on my network and other services, like Slacker, are still working. Mine went out a few weeks ago, came back for a few days, and is now out again. Song info shows up, but no audio on Pandora. Need to go in/out of Pandora (like play a song, then come back to Pandora), or fast-forward four or five songs to get Pandora to work. No new toys on the network; have a Touch, Boom, Radio, and depending on time of day two Classics hooked up. All act the same way. Only oddity is that I have SqueezePlay on my Android phone; wondering if it "pretending" to be a LMS client is creating issues. I'll try the cache file, and log file, see what's happening, but you're not alone. Happened on 7.7.6 and 7.8.0 (currently running.) No, no changes to network. I suspected the problem is with my local system. I've read some of those vocal threads - as soon as I see I'm the only one, then the problem is probably local. Over the next two three days I will explore my settings to determine if anything has changed (i.e I have auto update set on my router) and drag out my 100 foot lan cable and bypass all the switches in my home network. Switching back and forth between my music and pandora is smooth with Pandora streaming audio with the first song. Going directly through MSB still has same problem. That's not related to the issues I saw in your server.log then. Did you recently change something about your internet connection? Same thing happening on my end, Squeezebox Touch times out Pandora after 1 to 2 songs play. Thanks so much to all who got Pandora running again on SB. I fought with Chromecast for two days and was really frustrated to see that Google home doesn't stop playing when I receive a phone call, like squeezecontrol does. So simple and elegant on SB! I'm shocked that a change at Amazon would take out Pandora and Slacker. Hold on... that's not the case! Both services continued to work. It was the SB integration with them which failed, a problem on our end, just to be fair. I know that AWS is immense, but I'm still shocked that both services would so rely on Amazon's servers instead of rolling their own. Services rely on them because they don't want to have to roll their own. Eg. this particular security issue was fixed by Amazon within hours/days of it becoming public knowledge. Many "self managed" systems likely will not be patched at all, simply because companies lack know-how or resources or whatever. Pandora stopped working for me yesterday with the error: 504 Error Pandora Gateway Timeout. I have 4 Squeezeboxes throughout the house and have loved them prior to Logitech when it was SlimDevices. Didn't get any love from Pandora when I contacted them this morning asking what that error meant. I am really glad to now find out what the issue is and that a solution should be coming soon! Hopefully Michael, our last guardian angel, will be able to get it resolved. I'd hate to think we finally came to the end of streaming on our beloved SqueezeBoxen. If only some white knight would come riding in with an offer to purchase the rights from Logitech and bring back, what is still to this very day, the best music streaming device/platform back from the edge of extinction. Dreaming I know, but how cool would it be to have a new well funded company named, oh I don't know, SlimDevices2 save us all from Sonos hell, or whatever other lame compromised option when the sad inevitable day does finally come (that's assuming today isn't that day of course)? But, if you read the TOS for MySB.com (which also includes any/all offered services within) these can all end at any time for any reason and with no notification at all, even if the devices were still fully supported and still being sold. Some services did end while SB players were still being sold. It's the standard streaming TOS with most any such service. It lasts as long as it lasts.. nothing more and nothing promised. FWIW: the issue was triggered by the kernel updates Amazon installed to protect their infrastructure from the CPU vulnerabilities recently reported (http://meltdownattack.com). They somehow interfere with the firewall rules we have in place. I hope to have a fix, soon, as it shouldn't involve any code. I've been using these units for over a decade, and in particular been streaming Pandora in my home through a set of players regularly for the last few years. In the event that the Pandora functionality is lost, how is the Spotify support these days? I've been reading about Spotty but not sure how reliable it is - really, I'll drop Pandora like a hot potato unless I can stream it over my Boxen. My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that Pandora and Slacker have not been "supported" on LMS for some time now. They have just continued to work.
