Noticed that I had a pre-installed Picture gallery plugin with the default path /share/HDA_DATA/ set. That would very much cover my photo folders. Still concerned though. I haven't scanned images what I'm aware of and if so final library would sum up considerably more files than expected. Briefly

I should also point out that I removed the SSOTS package from my NAS and reinstalled it to have some kind of clean installation with no old stuff messing things up. But there might be traces from a former scan, db, cache or whatever stuck in some corners of the Qnap that I don't know of...
