Since a few weeks I have problems with my LMS 7.9.0 - 1475786002 running
on a QNAP NAS
I wondered why my new music wasn't added to my libary so I did manualy a
complete rescan of the libary.
The LMS just found 303 folders with 313 files instead of 1604 folders
with 31700 files.

Hi Guy,
What squeezebox player are you using?
What Synology NAS do you have?
What DSM version is installed?
What version of LMS are you running?
what kind of files are you playing(MP3, FLAC, ALAC)?
Can you access your player using the Webui?
Greetings,
Martin

User SSODS has R/W permission to folder and all subfolders. So I didn't
think so but will check it.

This server ( I think you mean the DS216se) is not that powerfull and
could cause some problems when running multiple tasks. Check the server
cpu load first. If

You are right ! Thanks.
Don't know what was the problem because as I wrote the permisson for the
user SSODS was for the mainfolder "music" and for all subfolders set to
R/W.
I solved the problem by copying all subfolders to another folder, than
delete the mainfol
Scanned fine...took a few hours to complete FULL scan (but yes a lot
faster) :)
Yes, I do have Photo Station installed
AlsoI got the Squeezepad iPad app to work too now but the official
Squeezebox app for the iPad Pro still cannot find the player ...which is
odd...seems to have no setting eit
HmmmJust using the Album Artists Browser on the DSM LMS app to look
down my music and it only seems to allow me to scroll down half way
through the "A"s then it stops and the screen then bounces if I try to
scroll further down!
