Definately louder, but still I find the stereo perspective more tidy,
and I find myself being able to tell instruments apart more easily (e.g.
Daft Punks Giorgio by Moroder at about 8 mins). I do prefer what I find
to be a less aggressive sound.

Second: don' t just copy files or directories, some files/code contain
Synology specific patches.
Would you have any information about what patches they applied?
I guess I'll have to do a diff on their code and what we have in github...

The logfile did tell
[17-11-01 11:56:28.1743] Slim::Schema::Storage::throw_exception (122) Error: DBI Exception: DBD::SQLite::st execute failed: database disk image is malformed
The error says it all: your database image is malformed. Shut down LMS,
delete library.db, restart.

If I get an lower end NUC or other barebone PC (which hopefully would
have better performance than a pi, but not much bigger or more power
hungry) with no preinstalled OS, what's the best way to put a running
LMS 7.9 into it?
Thanks.

Michael,
Sorry to trouble you again, but your solution does not seem to be
working. Just

Thanks again, Michael
BTW, for other readers who may be reading this exchange, in my system
the file is located in /etc/default/logitechmediaserver (not 'defaults'
but 'default').
Hi, I updated my server from to 10.13.1 yesterday and LMS doesnt start
up any more. This shows up in the server log:
Code:
[17-11-01 06:34:13.6116] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server
(v7.9.0, 1488878280, Tue Mar 7 01:18:11 PST 2017) perl 5.018002 -
Those messages tell us that LMS actually is starting, but that the web
UI doesn't respond. Do you have any network related tools installed?
Little Snitch or the like?
