I have noticed this "issue" for many months but have been too lazy to
report it until today. I am running Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0
- 1627922070. After adding new media to my LMS, I have found that it is
sometimes impossible to update certain fields. For example, if I add an
album

The sentinel file and "delete/re-add" methods should work. Could this
be an issue of ID3v1 vs. ID3v2 tags being out of sync?

Perhaps even easier: put a sentinel

This is a good hint. I recently dealt with a similar issue as the OP. In
my case what appeared in mp3tag as a single YEAR tag with duplicate
values (separated by ;)

Hello, I am having trouble acquiring my songs in my LMS. I have ripped
around 400+ dsd song in my hard disk but in LMS only 32 song is detected
in my LMS server. Any idea how can i get the files to show in my LMS
server?366653
As @GaryM says, but start LMS (you might want to install the current 8.2
version) and go into LMS Settings rather than using the Control Panel.
Depending on the skin you use the music folder is specified either on
the Basic Settings tab (Default skin) or Settings -> Server -> about
half way down
I see the same error in the nightlies I installed (8.2x and 8.3.x).
Local issue or LMS?
