As @GaryM says, but start LMS (you might want to install the current 8.2 version) and go into LMS Settings rather than using the Control Panel. Depending on the skin you use the music folder is specified either on the Basic Settings tab (Default skin) or Settings -> Server -> about half way down the page (Material skin) or Settings -> Server Settings -> Folder (Classic skin). The Control panel in windows does like to grieve you from time to time.
