This make me think it is not noise as that would affect AAC transcoded
streams as well but problem may be something with the flac encoding of
the file.
How were the file encoded ? What settings were used ?

I'm assuming the same. I have 2 receivers, on both the issue occurs -
not on the radios!
AAC transcoded streams don't cause the issue, only my own flac files.
When the stream is pausing, the white LED of the

Bit rate of input radio stream is irrelevant since it gets converted in

Nope - because the bitrate is 64kb/s CBR - where does the transcoding to
FLAC take place (converted to 705kb/s FLAC)? In the SB receiver or LMS?
My FLAC files are 700kb/s+ VBR encoded.
In the first attached file you see zero

Do you get the issue when streaming AAC stream such as
http://www.somafm.com/illstreet32.pls ? which will stream as Flac.

Unfortunately it didn't work. It was only a temporary solution. It looks
like that the powerline connection is getting interfered. This has no
effect on the normal network traffic. Streaming of mp3 or wma is
possible without problems. I'll keep on looking

I'm solved it myself. It was an networking issue. The powerline adapter
that distributes my network signal was plugged into a power sucket
(plug) which decided to bug me ;-) Now my network speed increased to a
150+ Mbit/s. For some reason receivers are more sensitive than radios
