I've problems with ntlm:auth authentication.
I've configured as said in squid documentation, so my squid.conf is:
auth_param ntlm program
/usr/squid/libexec/ntlm_auth --debug-level=10 --helper-protocol=squid-2.5-nt
lmssp
auth_param ntlm children 40
which squid.conf options and what parameter must be
set.
for now, I'll repost in samba ml.

I want to discuss these issues:
1) ntlm-ssp protocol seems to be not used from IE, testing with win2003,
latest IIS if leaving only this in squid.conf:

ntlm_auth shipped with squid 2.5 latest tarrball work perfectly with
samba3!!

Note that it as a little performance impact and give some problems with PaX
enabled on SMP machines.
