I had the same problem on RHEL4 and on Centos 4 My solution was to just grab the latest srpm from Fedora Core 4 Updates, did a rpmbuild and upgraded the so STABLE10 10 minutes of work and no problem afterwards... I really wonder why there is was update from RHEL cheers This

I think that is not all of your auth and acl lines in your squid.conf. Your problem looks like you got ntlm auth and basic auth configured and sometimes a pop-up appears, where ntlm auth should have happened!?! Can you also post your NTLM-Auth Settings? If you got a cachemgr.cgi running then
