I am using Squid 3.4 to inspect content that heads out to the cloud from

- Upload 300 40M files to cloud results in multiple failures.

That sounds like a buggy acl,
i have something like,
you should set debug to level 3 and read cafuly to discover ACL that is doing
this.

I am better off using DHCP with squid or Static IP Address?
Whatever, as long as it's properly done.
But there is a lot less risk of hostname confusion using static IPs, as
the server is well aware of it's name from the early start and

Hi Guys,
Squid did not respond when I restarted my PC. I don't have any error message
in /etc/squid/squid.out. It seems that squid is not even registering. Since I
don't have an error message, I can't sort this out. I also tried a restart,
stop and start but nothing would do.

Hi
I am using REDHAT ES 3.0 and running squid 2.5.10 stable on it.
I have 2 internet Links. One Link is fibre ( Primary) and other is
Satellite link(Failover).
Failover link capacity is not much and if Primary goes down, all traffic
get shifted to Failover link. And Failover link get congested.

Remember that you do not need to do any thing at the squid compilation.
Yes you do. The ulimit must be set to the maximum you want to be able to

This is all described in the Squid
