This delete problem annoyed me so I had another look at all the options
etc using conf.pl and I seem to have solved the problem by setting true
thread and sort support in the general settings.

I have just installed SM 1.4.0 after using 1.2.x for ages.
I have noticed that if I delete a message from a list by clicking the box
next to the message and use the delete button the total number of
messages is decremented BUT it seems the wrong message was
